The Tube is made of a special order aluminum that is/was the hang up getting the right aluminum. They could have gone with a lesser aluminum but for $10.00 more made the decision it was and is well worth it with them absorbing some of the cost and the customers some....... as this has been for them a three year investment and many hours. The picture shown here is a proto-type and is not the finished product. Even with one of the last adjustments they have a couple more before run starts. Highlights of this Tube extra strength walls NO everything extra strength !!!! OK got a little excited..... OK. The clamp that holds the metal tray bracket from above into the dipstick clamp w/slit is removable so those that have deletes have a awesome look it also has a flush collar and perfect slit with recessed hole for a 5 mm X 20 mm button head stainless steel bolt (yes we looked at the torx heads the button head is much stronger in this application) The tube and other pieces will be wiped down with polishing cloths and the tube and the other two components will be attached at either end with two set/grub screws ALL are stainless steel. NOTE: We advise never to remove set / grub screws as they will be set in there but in the event you find it necessary to do so.The lower & upper attachment (BELL) is even easier all you do is slide it up from the bottom or top down and when it stops it is lined up.
They have one small problem those with larger intake manifolds APR, SEM and other. The space is tight not impossible but tight. They can not advise you on this as they do not know if you have a spacer intake manifold gasket but those that have OEM intake manifold and spacer gasket it is no problem. One thing those that have the larger intake manifolds can do is; they are pretty sure someone they know will purchase one and just by looking at it the owners will know if it is right for them.
They recommend to buy one of their one or two piece Dipstick Replacement Handles
OEM # 06A103663B DIY***************DIY
Pre-Applying: check your OEM Dipstick for fitment as you are putting a in-perfect item into a precision CNC item. If it is to tight loosen the set/grub screws 1/4 turn and try again.. if the same problem sand down the round rings just a very little bit. and that should do it.
HOW TO APPLY: We left off the clamp as some may not need them........if for some reason you need to remove the set screws putting back on is very simple both ends slide off. The top when putting back on will slide down when it stops put the set screws in ( look how they are positioned before removing)The top set/grub screws do not over tighten the top piece/BELL as it might push on the inner metal and kink up the dipstick..... Now on the bottom one slide up (remember how the slits were positioned) and when it stops tighten grub/set screws and tighten nothing there can get hurt if you tighten hard.
Now to apply this TUBE We suggest that you square it up with tube coming from engine make sure the bottom SLITS are pointing Left and Right just like the orange crappy one you just took off (towards each wheel) Square off give it some hand pressure where it feels squared and take a piece of slender wood and rest it on the top of the bottom "BELL" and with a rubber mallet take a medium whack then move to the other side and repeat it would be better if someone else could steady the tube and the other person securing it.......
on item number WAB-11300 MKIV/TT tube while in use with WAB- 12050 dipstick for the tube:
I want to let you know that after 7000 miles I noticed my dipstick not as tight when put in
or pulled out.I found that the set screws had loosened
So, I suggest you tighten the set screws WITH LOCTITE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT.

WhanAb says: DIPSTICK REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Patent Pending
Tools needed tin shears or dremal with cutting blade, your dipstick
IMPORTANT WHEN YOU PULL YOUR DIPSTICK OUT: ONE WIPE IT OFF AND THE OTHER PUT A PIECE OF TAPE TO COVER THE OPENING "I USED PAINTERS TAPE "BLUE" *Your epoxy. Purchased or gift dipstick replacement handle.
Cut your dipstick 1/4 inch left & right of center stem as the metal strip goes almost a full inch as shown here It should look like this Picture #1 then cut and stripe off plastic and do not cut the metal. "Clear all the plastic off and show only the metal ". Then smooth the base around the bottom of where the metal comes out.** If you are buying the High Polish dipstick handle there will be either no to very little smoothing down of plastic as the handle has been redone. and apply your choice of *epoxy on base and metal.
Apply the supplied ***base over the metal and gentle press and center it and Apply the handle down over and slide the handle into the base hole for a flush fit. Take your set/grub screw and with the supplied Allen Wrench and tighten down "Do Not Over Tighten"
make sure the set screw is adjusted to hit the flat side of the metal sticking through the dipstick. Not the side of the metal.
You can hold in position or set in place and follow the direction of whatever *epoxy/*adhesive you use.
Picture 2 is how finished product should look.
*You do not need to use any epoxy or adhesive for handle to work. I suggest it as an extra precautionary measure. Any Questions: www.whanab.com
**Note: Only the High Polished Dipstick Replacement Handle is in one piece.
*** There is no base for the High Polish Dipstick replacement Handle
Purchased Product comes with directions.

Not the side of the metal.

how to do a "Throttle Body Reset"?
OK, before answering how to... this (apparently) is why... "if your car is driven for a long time without thrashing then it will limit the max throttle to 75% I believe. Reseting just gives you 100% again"
And this is how..
The Engine needs to be cold, so don't do this after a long drive or nothing will happen.
Turn the ignition on without actually starting the engine and wait for about 3 minutes.
Turn off the ignition and it's all done.
"My window doesn't go down automatically when opening the door" or "My one-touch window operation doesn't work anymore"
window reset:-
ignition on
windows all the way down
windows allthe way up, let go of switches
push them up again and hold for 3-5 seconds
ignition off
Should I get a replacement set of locking wheel bolts?
YES !!!! the bolts supplied by Audi only have 10 combinations, and they will sell the "keys" to anyone who asks for them... this results in your precious alloys being very 'nickable'. Any set will be better that those Audi supply, but go for a set that has lots of combinations, and preferably has a rotating collar.
